associated extracolonic tumours

Extracolonic tumours occur more often in patients with familial adenomatous polyposis than the general population. Tumours that have an increased incidence include:
- papillary thyroid cancer
- carcinoid tumours of the ileum
- carcinomas of the upper gastrointestinal tract
- medulloblastomas
- glioblastomas
