conditions associated with paediatric malignancy

There are five categories of conditions which increased an individual's probability of malignant disease. Some of the conditions are listed below:
General:
- Beckwith Wiedemann syndrome
- hemihypertrophy
- multiple exostosis
- neurofibromatosis
DNA repair defects:
- ataxia telangiectasia
- Fanconi anaemia
- xeroderma pigmentosa
Immune deficiency disorders:
- common variable immune deficiency
- severe combined immune deficiency
- Wiskott Aldrich syndrome
Chromosomal abnormalities:
- 11p13 deletion (Wilms' tumour)
- 13q14 deletion (retinoblastoma)
- trisomy 21 (Down syndrome)
Familial syndromes:
- familial adenomatous polyposis
- familial Hodgkins disease
