macro CK-1

Macro CK-1 is a complex formed between the creatinine kinase dimer, CK-BB, and IgG. It is present in 1-2% of the normal healthy population. It is characterised by electrophoresis.
Clinically, it is important as a provider of false positive results with particular assays of CK.
