This may present with a collapsing pulse and a sinus tachycardia.
Causes include:
- exercise
- emotion
- pyrexia
- anaemia
- pregnancy
- thyrotoxicosis
- AV fistulae
- Paget's disease
- hypercapnia
- vasodilator drugs
- Beri-beri
- erythroderma
- hepatic failure
