Raeder's syndrome

Raeder's syndrome consists of:
- facial pain:
- similar to the tic douloureux of trigeminal neuralgia
- over the distribution of the ophthalmic and maxiallary divisions of the trigeminal nerve
- partial Horner's syndrome:
- ptosis
- miosis
- no anhidrosis
The aetiology is unknown.
Treatment consists of analgesia.
