juvenile chronic myeloid leukaemia

Juvenile CML is thought to originate from a mutation in a foetal stem cell. It is a rare disorder and affects children under 5 years of age. It is characterised by:
- hepatosplenomegaly
- lymphadenopathy
- high foetal haemoglobin level
- rashes
