Clinical features include:
- retinitis pigmentosa
- cataracts
- ichthyosis
- ataxia
- sensorineural deafness
- dilated cardiomyopathy
- peripheral neuropathy
Presentation is in the second decade or later with a senorimotor polyneuropathy with ataxia and visual and hearing problems.
