Social situation - obtain description of nature, and satisfaction, concentrating on aspects which may be affected by illness:
- family (marriage, children, etc.)
- accommodation - is it all right at home
- financial circumstances
- activities - work, leisure, social and educational status
- work - is it all right at work

- previous occupations eg coalmining, asbestos exposure
- abroad?
- pets and exposure to animals or birds
- alcohol
- tobacco - do you or did you
Medication or drugs - can have own entry
- a complete list of all drugs and doses is very important
- also note previous allergies
