ECG changes in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
Last reviewed 01/2018
- evidence of left ventricular hypertrophy - however the pattern is very variable so there is not a typical ECG pattern
- other possible features include:
- often an odd axis, abnormal Q waves, deep S-waves and poor R-wave progression
- changes suggestive of pre-excitation e.g. short PR interval, delta-waves
