A fibrosarcoma is a malignant tumour of connective tissue, most commonly arising from bone endosteal connective tissue.
This type of tumour is uncommonly found in patients under 30 years of age, and accounts for about 7% of primary bone tumours.
The most common sites for fibrosarcomas are the femur and tibia.
Fibrosarcomas may present as pathological fractures.
