This includes:

  • Ebstein's anomaly - in this condition no right ventricular pulsation can be felt. The first sound is widely split due to right bundle branch block. In Ebstein's anomaly there is loud tricuspid closure with an opening snap and a ventricular filling murmur.

  • ventricular septal defect - no V waves in JVP. The pansystolic murmur is louder in a VSD.
