Grocco's triangle

In the presence of a pleural effusion, the posterior mediastinal pleura may bulge into the contralateral hemithorax.
This may result in a triangle of dullness to percussion in the contralateral hemithorax. Grocco's triangle is considered pathognomonic of pleural effusion.
