clinical features above larynx

The clinical features of inhalational injury above the larynx develop over a time course of four hours to a day. Typically they are, in order of severity:
- worsening stridor
- hoarseness
- weak voice
- brassy cough
- restlessness
- respiratory difficulty
- respiratory obstruction
- death
