arrhythmia and fitness to fly (flying)

Condition | Lay explanation | Restriction/guidance |
Stable Arrhythmia | If you get occasional palpitations that do not cause fainting and have recently become more frequent or you have an irregular pulse which is treated and stable |

Note that these are only guidelines and each airline has its own regulations and medical standards.
If unstable then advice as per relevant condition e.g. heart failure and flying
- an "uncontrolled cardiac arrhythmia" is an absolute contraindication
to flying (2)
