Contraindiactions include:
- pregnancy:
- the drug has abortifacient properties
- lactation:
- use is discourdaged because of conceivable adverse reactions in the infant
- there is no data on excretion of the drug in human milk
- efficacy and safety in children under 18 years has not been established
