Wiskott - Aldrich syndrome

Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome is an X-linked recessive disease characterised by:
- thrombocytopenia
- lymphopenia and depressed cellular immunity
- immunosuppression
- eczema
- malignant lymphoma
The gene responsible for this syndrome has been identified and prenatal diagnostic tests are available.
