Hepatomegaly is enlargement of the liver. It can be classified in various ways:
- hepatomegaly: smooth generalised enlargement, with or without jaundice
- hepatomegaly: knobbly generalised enlargement with or without jaundice
- hepatomegaly: localised swellings
- hepatomegaly: mild, moderate or massive
