clinical features of infantile hemiplegia

In congenital hemiplegia the baby's arms and legs show spastic weakness. There may be growth arrest that may be apparent after 6 months of paresis. Sensory abnormalities of the affected limbs occur in 60% of cases. Epilepsy is a common feature but mental retardation is not.
