pseudohypoparathyroidism

Pseudohypoparathyroidism is a rare disorder characterised by failure of target cells to respond to parathyroid hormone. It is inherited in an autosomal dominant fashion.
Features are similar to hypoparathyroidism.
There is peripheral resistance to the action of PTH.
