Lhermitte's symptom

Lhermitte's symptom is that of an electrical sensation in the spine or limbs on neck flexion.
It is often a symptom of a demyelinating condition such as multiple sclerosis.
Rarely, it is also seen in:
- myelopathy from cervical spondylosis
- vitamin B12 deficiency
- following a whiplash injury
