atropine sulphate

Atropine is an antimuscarinic with the following indications:
- antispasmodic action in irritable bowel syndrome, non- ulcer dyspepsia and diverticular disease
- ventricular bradycardia
- for performing refraction procedures in young children
- the reversal of competitive neuromuscular block
- drying of secretions, e.g. for general anaesthesia premedication
