St John's wort interacts with digoxin and may lead to reduced digoxin levels.
Suggested management schedule of patient already taking St John's wort:
- check digoxin level and stop St John's wort
- note that there may be a rise in digoxin levels on stopping St John's wort
- it may be necessary to adjust the digoxin dose
