NSAIDS compared with simple analgesics

There is evidence that NSAIDs are slightly more effective than than paracetamol in the treatment of osteoarthritis

  • in patients with osteoarthritis of the knee or hip, NSAIDs are slightly better than paracetamol for reducing osteoarthritis related general pain or pain at rest (1)
