If a skin reaction occurs:
- check or change site of the s.c. needle
- review syringe contents
- add Hyalase 1500 IU or Hydrocortisone 25-50mg per syringe
Firmness or swelling at the injection site is not in itself an indication for change but pain or obvious inflammation is.
