Simple anxiety usually accompanies depression.
Anxiety may be a feature of early schizophrenia.
Organic causes of anxiety include:
- drug and alcohol withdrawal
- temporal lobe epilepsy
- phaeochromocytoma
- hypoglycaemia
- hyperthyroidism
- caffeine abuse
