Symptoms:
- deja vu
- memories flooding into consciousness
- amnesia during attack
- olfactory or gustatory hallucinations
- sensations rising up the body
Signs:
- cut off from the outside world during an attack - feeling detached from surroundings
- slow and confused
- repetitive vocalisations
- automatisms (repetitive movements)
- lip-smacking
- sniffing
