Agents which may reduce visceral nocioception may be of benefit in non-ulcer dyspepsia.

Possible drugs include:

  • low dose tricyclic antidepressants
  • kappa opioid agonists:
    • tramadol (1)
  • serotonin receptors antagonists:
    • ondansetron
    • granisetron
