MMR and tuberculin testing (Mantoux test)
- four weeks should be left between giving MMR vaccine and carrying out tuberculin
testing
- measles vaccine component of MMR can reduce the delayed-type hypersensitivity
response
- could give a false negative response to tuberculin testing
- measles vaccine component of MMR can reduce the delayed-type hypersensitivity
response
