A vesico-colic fistula is one between the colon and the urinary bladder. It is the most common type of fistulous communication between the bladder and the gastrointestinal tract, occurring more often in men than women - ratio of 3:1.
Treatment is not always necessary. Fifty percent close spontaneously.
