  • plasma concentration peaks within 2 hours after oral administration

  • half-life is approximately 13 hours

  • absorbed drug mainly protein bound (at least 90%)

  • reboxetine is mainly metabolised by the liver

  • there is evidence that elimination is slowed and systemic exposure increased, in patients with hepatic and renal impairment and in elderly patients
