    • fever
    • rigors
    • contact with persons with infectious diseases
  • symptoms suggestive of a neoplasm include
    • anorexia
    • weight loss
  • symptom interpretation is not easy:
    • a lymphoma, a neoplasm of the lymph gland, can present with fever and night sweats, features that may also occur in an infective cause of lymph node enlargement.
