- high-grade B cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
- neurological complications:
- AIDS dementia complex
- progressive multifocal leucoencephalopathy
- primary cerebral lymphoma
- peripheral neuropathy or myopathy which may be complications of nuceloside analogue therapies
